Job Title: Front Office Supervisor
Reports to: Assistant Front Office Manager and Front Office Manager
We are looking for a reliable and well-organized
Front Office Supervisor to support the Front Office team in daily operations, coordinate shift activities, and ensure that all front desk procedures are executed accurately and efficiently in accordance with hotel standards.
Key Responsibilities
Front Desk Operations
- Supervise daily front desk tasks and support receptionists during the shift.
- Perform check-in, check-out, stay extensions, and reservation modifications in Protel PMS.
- Enter guest information, scan IDs/passports, encode room keys, and prepare registration cards.
- Monitor room status and resolve discrepancies in cooperation with Housekeeping.
- Follow procedures for no-shows, late reservations, overbooking situations, and lost & found items.
- Ensure accuracy in billing, postings, and payment processing.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the reception and lobby area during the shift.
Shift Coordination & Team Support
- Provide guidance and on-the-job support to new and seasonal receptionists.
- Share relevant operational updates with the FO Team Leader and management.
- Conduct briefings at the beginning or end of the shift when needed.
- Ensure compliance with all Front Office procedures, standards, and grooming guidelines.
Administration & Reporting
- Ensure the shift cash float/safe is correct and properly handed over.
- Prepare basic operational reports within Protel PMS.
- Record shift logs clearly and accurately for smooth handovers.
Internal Communication & Standards
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Follow all safety, hygiene, and equipment-handling procedures.
- Maintain a professional appearance and uphold Lazure grooming standards.
- Carry out additional duties as assigned by the Assistant Front Office Manager or Front Office Manager.
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of hotel front office experience; senior/shift experience is an advantage.
- Familiarity with Protel PMS or ability to learn quickly.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Professional appearance, positive attitude, and a responsible approach to guest and financial procedures.
