Mission
You will be responsible to oversee and manage sales of Iberostar Selection Montenegro to maximize income, achieve hotel budget and market share by designing and executing high-impact sales strategies. You will act as the bridge between the hotel, Revenue, Distribution, Marketing, and Source Markets) to develop strategies, promotional opportunities and maximize market share.
✔️ What will your day-to-day work be like?
- Strategic Planning: Propose and manage monthly budgets per source market and hotel; proactively identify revenue gaps and design "360º action plans" (pricing, campaigns, and marketing) to bridge them.
- Performance Excellence: Review reports and performance of the hotel per month, per channel, pricing, availability, yielding, benchmark, accounts and market performance, followed by an action plan with the respective stakeholders. Identify gaps vs budget, identify reason, propose action plans such as offers, campaigns & marketing strategies.
- Destination Expert: You will identify local opportunities and new potential clients and build a powerful local network with tourism boards, authorities, and competitors to keep the entire organization informed of any new developments from a destination standpoint: KAM, B2B, B2C, Revenue, BOC, Operations, Marketing, Groups.
- Commercial Synergy: Lead the commercial alignment between Hotel Marketing, Guest Experience, and Reservations to ensure a seamless brand presence. Coordinate with the Reservations Department any queries or issues. Communicate any hotel update and changes to the Income organization.
- Operational Leadership: Oversee high-value site inspections, FAM trips, and VIP’s.
- MICE & Weddings: Partner with the Groups & Events department and participate in meetings with wedding and meeting planners.
- Key Account Management: Take full ownership of the contracting cycle (from negotiation to internal processing) for local and international accounts.
- Strategic Alignment: Lead weekly calls with the Director of Operations (DOP) to align on KPIs, operational updates, and destination updates.
- Market Intelligence and reporting: Deliver weekly destination updates to the wider organization, ensuring all stakeholders (KAM, Revenue, Marketing) are synced.
🔎 Who is the ideal person for this job?
- Education: Degree in Tourism, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Proven track record in Hotel Sales, specifically within the Montenegro or Balkan market. Experience in Hotels operation and/or sale as well as weddings & groups.
- Languages: Fluency in the local language and English (C1). A good knowledge of Spanish would be very valued
- Digital Fluency: A good command of Hotel PMS, Power BI, and G-Suite.
- Soft Skills: You are results-oriented professional, driven by targets but focused on building long-term relationships. You are creative, adaptable, and proactive.
