Job Title: Marina Receptionist
Reports to: Marina Office Manager and Marina Director
Job Description
As the Marina Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for guests arriving at the marina, providing excellent service with professionalism and a welcoming attitude. Russian language proficiency is an asset and will be highly valued in this role. Your responsibilities will include:
- Welcoming Guests: Warmly greeting marina guests, addressing inquiries, and guiding them to relevant areas or staff.
- Responding to Inquiries: Handling phone calls, emails, and face-to-face questions in a prompt and courteous manner, providing accurate information as needed.
- Reservation Management: Managing marina reservations, scheduling docking services, and accurately maintaining records of guest bookings and preferences.
- Administrative Support: Assisting the Marina Office team with data entry, filing, and supply management.
- Coordinating Services: Working with other departments to arrange guest services such as transportation, SPA booking or other special requests.
- Ensuring Security: Overseeing visitor access and following security protocols to ensure guest and staff safety and privacy.
- Maintaining a Presentable Reception Area: Keeping the marina reception area tidy, organized, and welcoming.
- Assisting with Check-ins and Check-outs: Supporting guest check-in and check-out processes, including processing payments and providing essential information for a smooth marina experience.
- Handling Complaints: Addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally, escalating to management as required.
- Coordinating Communication: Ensuring effective communication within the marina by relaying messages and information promptly to the appropriate personnel.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a guest-facing role, ideally in hospitality or marina services.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
- Proficiency in computer applications, including MS Office and reservation software.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Russian language skills are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse guests.
- A passion for delivering exceptional customer service and contributing to memorable guest experiences.
