ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Operations Executive to join our iGaming company. This is a pivotal role for a dynamic individual who lives and breathes online gaming — someone who combines deep industry knowledge with exceptional technical capabilities and a genuine passion for sports. You will be responsible for driving seamless day-to-day operations across our casino and sportsbook verticals, ensuring platform performance, regulatory compliance, and an outstanding player experience.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Platform & Product Operations
- Oversee the end-to-end operational performance of the casino and sportsbook platforms, ensuring maximum uptime and player satisfaction.
- Coordinate with product, tech, and supplier teams to manage game integrations, odds feeds, and platform updates.
- Monitor KPIs across verticals — handle times, bet acceptance rates, margin performance, and bonus redemption — and drive continuous improvement.
- Lead incident response and resolution processes for platform, payment, or operational disruptions.
Payments & Treasury
- Oversee the full lifecycle of crypto and fiat payment operations, including deposits, withdrawals, chargebacks, and reconciliation.
- Manage relationships with PSPs, crypto payment processors, and banking partners to ensure reliable and compliant payment rails.
- Drive optimisation of payment acceptance rates while maintaining rigorous fraud prevention standards.
- Ensure crypto operations (BTC, ETH, stablecoins, and others) are executed securely, with accurate on-chain reconciliation and wallet management.
- Work closely with the finance team to maintain liquidity, manage settlement cycles, and produce accurate treasury reporting.
Sportsbook Operations
- Oversee trading, risk management, and liability exposure across sports markets.
- Collaborate with in-house and third-party trading teams on pricing, market creation, and event settlement.
- Stay on top of major sporting events and leagues globally, using your passion for sport to anticipate operational requirements and player behaviour.
Compliance & Regulatory
- Ensure operations are conducted in line with applicable licensing conditions, AML/KYC frameworks, and responsible gambling obligations.
- Liaise with the compliance and legal teams to prepare for regulatory audits and implement required operational controls.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 2-4 years of hands-on experience within the online gaming industry (casino, sportsbook, or combined), with provable impact in an operations or similar role.
- Demonstrated expertise managing both crypto and fiat payment ecosystems, including PSP integrations, fraud tools, and reconciliation processes.
- Genuine, demonstrable passion for sport — knowledge of major global leagues, tournaments, and betting markets is essential.
- Strong technical acumen; ability to work fluently with platform back-offices, data dashboards, (development skills not required, but technical fluency is).
- Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and managing multiple operational workstreams simultaneously.
- Experience with gaming platforms (Softswiss, Betby) is highly desirable.
- Solid understanding of B2C iGaming regulations, AML obligations (sumsub), and player protection frameworks.
DESIRABLE SKILLS
- Familiarity with BI tools such as Hex, Looker for operational reporting.
- Experience with managing third-party suppliers and platform vendors.
- Background in risk management, trading, or sportsbook margin analysis.
- Knowledge of Web3 gaming infrastructure or crypto-native iGaming operators.
- Fundamental understanding of AI agents and automated workflows.
