The Chedi Luštica Bay is the first of seven hotels within the beautiful Luštica Bay. Set on the front line of the marina, it provides a unique experience of waterfront living. Key Responsibilities
- Committed to providing a welcoming environment to customers
- Project a pleasant and positive professional image to all contacts always
- Ensure that the hosting aspect of The Chedi is managed at the highest possible level and that all hosting staff adheres to the established standards and procedures perfectly
- Greet the guests at the entrance of the restaurant
- Oversee guest satisfaction, maintaining standards and meeting or exceeding the company goals
- Ensure that hosting aspect of The Chedi Luštica Bay and all of its outlets is managed at the highest possible level and that whole hosting team adheres to the established standards and procedures perfectly
- Provide frequent trainings and refreshers to hosting team, to ensure that they are all familiar to their duties and responsibilities
- Assist guests in F&B Outlets to be seated upon arrival
- Strict adherence to LQA and Forbes Hospitality Standards
- Checking the booking list for F&B Outlets
- Manage and anticipate needs, requests and wishes of guests
- Maintain knowledge of all outlet reservation and booking procedures
- Communicate with bar and kitchen colleagues to ensure that eventual special guest requests are met
- Provide support to other departments when required
- Maintain positive guest relations
- Respond quickly and proactively to guest concerns
- Being a role model for the fellow hosting team members
- Preparation of shifts for hosting team and taking care of time attendance records
- Assist the managers in SOP creation and implementation
- Take ownership of guest complaint or request until it is resolved or addressed by a manager
- Understand The Chedi brand service culture
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities And Other Traits
- High School education
- Minimum 2-3 year of experience in hotel industry or high-end restaurant in hosting or similar positions
- Minimum 1 year of supervising experience
- Excellent understanding of the hospitality industry
- Excellent knowledge of F&B function
- Knowledge of LQA and Forbes Hospitality Standards in the field of Food & Beverage
- Ability to handle trainings and refreshers for the hosting team
- Full working professional proficiency in English and Montenegrin, additional languages are a big advantage
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent presentation skills
