Accounts Payable who values precision, understands the importance of strong financial controls, and brings structure and reliability to our finance operations.
Your Role
As
Accounts Payable, you will be responsible for managing the full accounts payable cycle, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, maintaining supplier relationships, and supporting the Finance team in delivering high standards of financial integrity across The Chedi Luštica Bay and Luštica Bay Vacation Homes.
This position is based on-site and reports to the Finance Manager / Director of Finance.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Processing supplier invoices accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with company policies and approval workflows
- Reconciling vendor statements and resolving discrepancies professionally and efficiently
- Preparing payment runs and supporting timely settlement of liabilities
- Salary calculations and payments
- Maintaining accurate AP records and supporting month-end closing activities
- Coordinating with internal departments to ensure correct cost allocation and documentation
- Supporting audits by providing required documentation and reconciliations
- Ensuring compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and company procedures
- Building positive relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Contributing to continuous improvement of AP processes and efficiency
- Other duties within Finance & Accounting scope, as directed by superior
Who We’re Looking For
- A professional with proven experience in Accounts Payable or a similar finance role, preferably within hospitality or a service-oriented environment (At least 2 years of relevant experience)
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and AP processes, preferably with relevant educational background
- Comfortable working with financial systems (Sun and MC) and MS Excel
- A reliable team player with a proactive mindset and strong communication skills in Montenegrin and English
- Someone who takes pride in accuracy, confidentiality, and meeting deadlines
