Your mission will be to plan, organize, and supervise the activities carried out in the Purchasing Department, ensuring the correct provisioning of the hotel.
✔️ What will your day-to-day look like?
Responsibilities include:
- Supervise the work of the Purchasing Department to ensure the correct provisioning of the hotel, preventing excess stock or serious stock-outs.
- Supervise the periodic inventory counts, calculating consumption and controlling deviations from what was planned.
- Process the hotel's purchase order, centralizing orders from different departments, and send the order to each supplier.
- Review, authorize, and post invoices.
- Control the entry of merchandise into the unit and supervise the reception of suppliers and the checking of delivery notes.
- Manage the storage space and ensure that the identification and location of the merchandise are correct, and that humidity and temperature conditions facilitate its preservation.
- Ensure the control of product expiry dates.
- Coordinate the supplies from the warehouse to the different departments of the establishment and kitchen sections.
- Lead the hotel's Purchasing team, participating in their selection, training, and evaluation.
- Size and distribute the staff based on occupancy, managing shifts, leaves, and holidays.

The ideal person for this role has excellent planning and organisation skills.
- Education related to the position.
- At least two years of experience in a similar position.
- English B2 is mandatory and any other languages will be valued.
- Specifc knowledge in accounting, invoicing, inventory management, product storage and preservation.
