Job Description
Lazure Hotel & Marina is looking for a reliable and motivated Kitchen Steward to join our team. As a Kitchen Steward, your key role is to support the culinary team by maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen, as well as organizing the necessary inventory to ensure an exceptional experience for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Dishwashing: Wash and dry dishes, cutlery, and kitchen utensils using appropriate methods and equipment.
- Maintaining Cleanliness: Keep work surfaces and kitchen areas clean, following sanitary standards.
- Waste Disposal: Properly dispose of waste and recyclable materials in accordance with regulations.
- Supporting the Kitchen Team: Assist chefs and kitchen staff with setup and organization as needed.
- Storage Organization: Keep storage areas clean and organized while helping to track inventory.
- Following Standards: Ensure all tasks are completed in compliance with safety and hygiene regulations.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
- Ability to Work Under Pressure: Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Hygiene Standards: Basic knowledge of hygiene standards and kitchen practices.
