Job Title: Electrician
Reports to: Technical Team Leader and Chief Engineer
Job Description
We are looking for an experienced and reliable Electrician to join our hotel's technical team. As an Electrician, your main responsibility will be the maintenance and repair of electrical systems and equipment, ensuring the safety and efficiency of all hotel installations.
Responsibilities
- Maintenance, repair, and installation of electrical systems in the hotel, including lighting, cable installations, security systems, switches, circuit breakers, and other electrical components.
- Regular inspection and testing of all electrical installations to identify and implement preventive measures for uninterrupted operation.
- Responding to electrical failures and quickly providing solutions to minimize downtime.
- Collaborating with the technical team and other hotel departments to coordinate tasks and maintain high maintenance standards.
- Adhering to safety protocols and standards when working with electrical equipment to ensure the safety of guests and staff.
- Preparing reports and informing supervisors about the condition of electrical systems and maintenance or repair needs.
- Participating in preventive inspections and maintenance, as well as training and mentoring new team members on safety procedures and technical requirements.
Qualifications
- Experience working with electrical installations, preferably in a hotel or similar commercial environment.
- Expertise in identifying and troubleshooting electrical faults and issues.
- Strong technical skills and knowledge of standard procedures for electrical system installation and maintenance.
- Attention to detail, commitment to safety standards, and excellent service towards guests and staff.
- Ability to work in a team as well as independently.
