Position Summary
The Front Desk Agent is responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient daily operation of the Front Desk. Serving as the face of the company, professionalism, friendliness, and courteous manners are essential. The role also involves actively supporting senior Front Office colleagues in all aspects of guest service.
Duties and Responsibilities
· Ensure all guest requests are addressed promptly and in accordance with the highest service standards.
· Manage the check-in and check-out process efficiently, ensuring accuracy in billing procedures.
· Provide regular and timely feedback from guests and clients to superiors, maintaining the highest level of service.
· Participate in training programs and assist in night shifts when required.
· Have a thorough understanding of accommodation categorization, pricing, packages, and all relevant information needed for daily operations.
· Maximize room occupancy by using upselling techniques and promoting hotel services and amenities.
· Ensure compliance with hotel procedures regarding payment methods, safety regulations, and fire safety standards.
· Support other hotel departments as needed.
Requirements
Experience with the Opera or similar hotel management system
Secondary education, a background in tourism is an advantage.
Positive attitude and exceptional communication skills.
Strong commitment to delivering the highest service standards.
Friendly and professional demeanor when interacting with guests, clients, and colleagues.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Fluent in English (written and spoken); knowledge of Italian or Russian is an advantage.
Well-mannered with excellent attention to detail.
Experience
Previous experience as a receptionist or in a similar customer service-related role is preferred
