We are looking for an Event Sales Manager for our F&B outlets in Tivat (Montenegro), who will play a key role in driving revenue and delivering exceptional event experiences. Combining proactive and reactive sales, this role involves creating new business opportunities through networking and account management, building client relationships, and managing private dining enquiries. You will also be responsible for end-to-end delivery of in-house events, from conceptualisation to execution, ensuring they are well planned, seamlessly executed, and leave a lasting impression on our guests.
Main responsibilities
- Proactively finding opportunities and leads for business growth by creating and maintaining customer database.
- Understanding client needs and providing a proposal which best suits their requirements.
- Conducting event space site inspections outlining unique selling points to the client.
- Achieving personal sales targets by converting leads into a business opportunity
- Planning an event successfully from beginning to end.
- Ensuring a well-executed event which exceeds customers' expectations.
- Communicating effectively and working closely with all concerned operations departments.
- Attentively handle guest complaints and provide mutually beneficial solutions.
- Sustains relationship with key accounts.
- Regularly runs reports, manages and updates the database and keeps financial records in accordance with the company policy.
Qualifications
- Previous Sales & Events Manager experience within luxury hospitality.
- Preferably, previous experience in the Montenegrin hospitality market.
- Proven ability to manage a dynamic workload and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven sales experience with a strong track record in proactive sales, including business development, client acquisition, and strategic account Management.
- Exceptional organisation skills with a keen eye for detail, capable of managing multiple events and client requests simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong and creative problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with CRM systems.
- Creative and entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to innovate and adapt.
- Strong network within hospitality and events industry.
