Role Mission: To lead and execute the company’s talent strategy within the country, ensuring the successful implementation of engagement, talent acquisition, and training strategies. The mission involves adapting these initiatives to local requirements to effectively foster and enhance talent throughout Montenegro.
What will your responsibilities be?
Engagement
- Strategic Wellbeing & Engagement Definition: Establish the pillars, annual objectives, and KPIs for the global wellbeing and engagement strategy, coordinating with Health & Safety (PRL) and other corporate departments.
- Global Onboarding: Design and oversee the implementation of a global onboarding process that reflects our corporate culture and ensures a consistent experience for all new joiners across the organisation.
- Activity Planning & Validation: Review and approve the annual calendar of activities, training sessions, and campaigns, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and the Employee Value Proposition (EVP).
- Ambassador Programme Coordination: Design, monitor, and continuously improve the programme; define initiatives and training, communicate actions, and provide ongoing support to Ambassadors while periodically auditing execution across hotels.
- Climate Survey Management: Select the most appropriate employee climate surveys for the country, establish guidelines, and ensure communication is aligned with corporate standards.
- Impact Analysis & Monitoring: Regularly review results and key indicators to identify improvement opportunities and establish corrective actions.
- Recognition Standards Leadership: Lead and supervise the local application of global standards for celebrating key milestones (birthdays, work anniversaries, and retirements). Act as the lead for policy compliance, ensuring every recognition reflects the brand’s excellence and maintains consistency across all hotels.
Talent Acquisition
- Point of Contact: Act as the Talent Acquisition lead for the four hotels within the country.
- New Openings: Participate in the recruitment process for the team of our new hotel opening in May '26.
- Strategic Projects: Lead specific talent attraction projects in response to unique business needs.
- End-to-End Selection: Manage full-cycle recruitment for middle management and interns, developing effective search strategies to attract both active and passive candidates.
- Collaborative Hiring: Partner with middle management to support the recruitment of frontline staff.
- Candidate Experience: Guarantee an excellent candidate experience throughout the entire recruitment journey.
- Employer Branding: Represent the company at job fairs and recruitment events.
- Sourcing Innovation: Research and identify new recruitment channels tailored to different target groups.
- Digital Recruitment: Act as the local lead for Iberostar Careers management and Social Media recruitment.
- Partnership Management: Negotiate with and maintain relationships with recruitment agencies, public institutions, and educational bodies.
- Reporting: Produce tracking reports and KPIs, planning necessary actions to ensure continuous improvement.
Learning & Development (L&D)
- Needs Identification: Collaborate with Department Heads, Centres of Excellence (CoE), and HRBPs to identify specific training needs within local teams.
- Training Plan Design & Execution: Design, plan, and execute the annual local training plan alongside Operations and the CoE, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and established procedures.
- New Openings: Lead training programmes for new hotel openings within the country.
- Vendor & Logistics Management: Select local training partners (ensuring cost-efficiency and quality) and manage logistics (venues, travel, accommodation, F&B, virtual classrooms, and physical materials).
- Digital Learning Promotion: Design learning pathways in the local language. Promote the use of the "Campus" platform, acting as the primary contact for queries and support. Run communication campaigns (e.g., Campus Days) to drive learning engagement among frontline staff.
- L&D Monitoring & KPIs: Register all training sessions on the platform and monitor key indicators (attendance, satisfaction, and progress).
- Budget & Invoicing: Design the local training budget alongside the CoE and Operations, ensuring invoice management and cost allocation follow established procedures.
Candidate Profile
Education & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Labour Relations, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Desirable: Additional training in Project Management.
Languages
- English: Advanced level.
- Montenegrin or Serbian: Advanced level.
Background & Experience
- Proven experience in executing employee engagement initiatives, workplace climate projects, and organisational culture strategies.
- Experience in measuring and analysing engagement and climate indicators, and defining strategic action plans.
- A minimum of 2–3 years of experience in Human Resources departments, with a specific focus on talent management.
- Experience working within multicultural or multinational environments, with the ability to adapt global corporate guidelines to local requirements.
- Previous experience within the hospitality or service sector is an advantage.

- Proactivity & Autonomy: Capable of leading the local talent agenda independently while remaining aligned with the global strategy.
- Time Management: Excellent skills to successfully balance training responsibilities with Talent Acquisition and Engagement tasks
