Job Description
We are looking for a responsible and vigilant
Lifeguard to join our beach team and contribute to the safety and well-being of our guests. As a Lifeguard, your primary duty will be to ensure a safe environment for swimmers and beach visitors, act preventively, and respond promptly in emergency situations.
Responsibilities
- Monitor swimming areas and beach activities to ensure guest safety at all times.
- Respond quickly and efficiently in case of accidents, injuries, or life-threatening situations.
- Maintain constant visual contact with the water and proactively identify potential risks.
- Enforce beach rules and safety protocols to prevent incidents.
- Communicate with guests in a friendly and professional manner, offering safety tips and guidance.
- Keep the lifeguard station and rescue equipment clean and organized.
- Maintain daily logs of activities, incidents, and safety observations.
- Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure a pleasant and secure guest experience.
- Attend regular training sessions in first aid and water rescue techniques.
Requirements
- Previous experience in the same or similar role.
- Possession of a valid or expired lifeguard license (license renewal support available from the employer).
- Good knowledge of rescue techniques and first aid.
- High sense of responsibility, focus, and ability to react quickly in emergency situations.
- Willingness to work in shifts and outdoor conditions.
