We are looking for Finance Manager to be based in Montenegro, with good understanding of the accounting laws of the country. This role is responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the Finance Department and oversees all activities related to budgeting, forecasting, profit and loss reporting and account reconciliation for operating and balance sheet accounts for the outlets in the country. Finance Manager analyzes department budgets, ensures actions are in line with legal requirements, monitors cash flow and addresses internal conflict.
Main responsibilities
- Oversee the accounting and finance function, provide leadership, direction and guidance to the operations team.
- Act as a strategic business partner and financial advisor to the management team.
- Manage all financial/operational accounting activities including monthly accounts, balance sheet, cash flow statement, flash figures, payroll, cash management, costing and budgeting.
- Guide financial decisions by establishing, monitoring and enforcing policies and procedures.
- Direct the monthly accounting close process on a timely basis.
- Lead the financial planning of the company by analysing its performance and risks.
- Oversee all audit and internal control operations.
- Prepare financial reports in accordance with corporate requirement.
- Assist Department Heads to improve their financial awareness and provide them with relevant financial information for their operations.
- Performs other duties pertinent to this job as assigned.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in finance in a multi-site F&B / Hospitality
- Strong knowledge of finance, accounting, and related tools.
- Good understanding of the accounting laws in Montenegro
- Good English communication skills
- Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills to evaluate alternatives and provide recommendations on business issues.
- Extensive Experience in budgeting, financial reporting, and forecasting
- Excellent computer skills, (ERP, Microsoft office)
- Great attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to analyse financial data and provide insights to business leaders
