We are seeking a talented Design Manager with a strong architectural background and extensive experience in hospitality design to be based in Montenegro. This role will lead the full lifecycle of design projects, from initial concept through to construction, ensuring that all elements align with our brand vision and operational needs, as well as ensure effective coordination among all disciplines involved in the design and execution of projects from the ground up, and have knowledge on building codes and authority approval requirements.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead the architectural design and development of hospitality buildings, overseeing projects from conception through to completion.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, and construction, to ensure design solutions are integrated and effective.
- Manage multiple design projects, ensuring compliance with budgets, timelines, and quality standards throughout the construction process.
- Conduct site analysis and feasibility studies, incorporating insights into design strategies to optimize space and functionality.
- Present design concepts and project updates to stakeholders, integrating feedback to refine and enhance the design.
- Ensure adherence to all relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards during the design and construction phases.
- Coordinate between different disciplines including Architectural consultant, Landscape design consultant, MEP consultant, Structural Consultant, etc.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Architecture.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in design management, with a strong focus on hospitality projects.
- Proven experience in managing architectural projects from initial design through to construction, including site management.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating successful F&B and hospitality projects, showcasing both creativity and technical proficiency.
- Proficiency in architectural design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp) and familiarity with 3D rendering tools.
- Fluency in English is essential. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex design concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
- Experience with sustainable design practices and building materials in the hospitality sector.
- Knowledge of brand development, marketing strategies, and operational considerations specific to hospitality environments.
- Familiarity with contract administration and working with construction teams and contractors.
