Role Description The Gardener role is a full-time, on-site position based in Tivat. The Gardener will be responsible for daily maintenance of gardens and landscaped areas, including planting, pruning, mowing, weeding, fertilizing, and seasonal clean-up. This role includes monitoring plant health, identifying pests or diseases, and applying appropriate treatments in line with safety and environmental guidelines. The Gardener will assist with implementing garden and landscape designs, installing new plantings, and helping to maintain hardscape elements such as paths and borders. The position also involves operating and maintaining gardening tools and machinery, supporting irrigation system checks, and collaborating with landscape architects, designers, and site supervisors to ensure high-quality project execution.
Qualifications
- Strong practical skills in Gardening and Landscape Maintenance, with attention to plant health and visual quality.
- Knowledge of Irrigation systems, including basic installation, adjustment, and routine checks.
- Familiarity with a variety of plants, soils, and fertilizers, and understanding of seasonal gardening tasks.
- Ability to safely use and maintain gardening tools, machinery, and equipment.
- Physical ability to perform outdoor work in varying weather conditions and to handle manual tasks such as lifting, digging, and carrying materials.
- Strong reliability, time management, and attention to detail, with the ability to follow instructions and work both independently and as part of a team.
- Prior experience in high-end or luxury residential or commercial landscapes is an advantage.
