Your mission will be to plan, organize, and supervise the activities carried out in the hotel's Kitchen department, ensuring that staff follow the protocols corresponding to the hotel's category and that the objectives of gastronomic quality and food safety are met.
✔️ What will your day-to-day look like?
Responsibilities include:
- Supervise all Kitchen services to ensure the quality of the gastronomic offer provided to guests and hotel staff, as well as customer service quality.
- Support the service during peak periods or when required.
- Analyze customer survey results and define improvement plans and actions.
- Ensure the correct maintenance of facilities and machinery, and the adequate provisioning of the kitchen.
- Conduct daily inventory and weekly food orders to the storeroom.
- Be accountable for the standards and compliance with the area's sanitation plan, meeting health and quality audits, and ensuring personnel safety.
- Offer direct attention to guests, resolving their doubts, suggestions, complaints, claims, and compliments, guaranteeing their satisfaction.
- Supervise waste management.
- Receive suppliers, reviewing their products, and receive auditors.
- Lead the hotel's Kitchen team, participating in their selection, training, and evaluation.
- Size and distribute the workforce according to occupancy, managing shifts, absences, and vacations.
- Collaborate with the hotel director in the preparation of the annual budget for the area, and manage it by monitoring the area's expenses.

The ideal person for this role has exceptional communication skills, is customer orientated and wants to develop the team.
- Education related to the position.
- At least two years of experience in a similar position.
- English C1 is mandatory and any other languages will be valued.
- Specifc knowledge in cooking, food handling, food safety and allergens, product storage and preservation
