About the role
A private estate on the Montenegrin coast is hiring a recently qualified medical doctor to serve as on-site Resident Physician and Wellness Coordinator during the high tourist season.
You will provide first-line medical care to the household and its international guests, coordinate health-related logistics, and act as the trusted point of contact between guests, hosts, and external medical providers when needed. The role is designed as a stepping stone for a physician who wishes to specialize later in physiotherapy or rehabilitation medicine — additional training can be supported.
Who we are looking for
• Medical doctor (MD) — recently graduated candidates are warmly encouraged to apply
• Fluent English (spoken and written); additional languages a strong plus
• Calm, discreet, well-mannered presence — comfortable working with high-profile guests
• Genuine interest in preventive care, wellness, and patient hospitality
• Team player, adaptable, willing to live on-site for the season
• Open to international candidates — full visa and work-permit support provided
Key responsibilities
• Provide on-site first-line medical care and basic emergency response
• Act as wellness coordinator and liaison between guests and external healthcare providers
• Support household routines related to health, nutrition, and well-being
• Maintain a small on-site medical inventory and records
• Optional: shadow visiting physiotherapy professionals as part of personal development
