Job Description:
The Accountant is responsible for maintaining accurate and orderly financial records, providing support for accounting functions and overall financial operations of the company.
The job involves bookkeeping, managing receivables and payables, as well as preparing financial reports, especially related to state projects.
Department: Accounting
Reports to: Accounting Manager
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintaining accurate financial records, including receivables and payables
- Assisting in the preparation of monthly and annual financial reports
- Assisting in the preparation of monthly and annual project reports
- Monitoring costs and budgeting for state construction projects
- Timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments
- Reconciling accounts and providing support during audits and tax filings
- Participating in creating and implementing more efficient policies, procedures, and reports
Requirements:
- Graduate in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 2 to 10 years of relevant accounting experience
- Knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Excel programs
- Attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines
- Independence in work and ability to accept management guidelines
- Fluency in English
