We are looking for a teacher of English B (HL) in the IB Diploma programme (IB DP).
Immediate hiring, start from September, 2025.
IB DP is one of the most recognized and comprehensive international pre-university programs!
Key Responsibilities
- Teaching groups of 16 – 19 – year olds, motivated, whose approximate level of English is B2 (some – of higher level)
- Teaching English in accordance with the programme requirements
- 12 teaching hours per week (DP English B), plus, additional teaching hours in Middle school available
- Planning, assessment/marking and other teaching-related work beyond teaching hours
- Participation in collaborative planning and reflection meetings
Candidate Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in the English language/ English literature/ linguistics/ or related fields
- Experience of teaching English as a second language
- Experience of teaching IB Diploma programme English B and/or good understanding of the DP and DP’s English B assessment requirements is an advantage
- An IB certification would be an advantage
- We are looking for a native English speaker (accent doesn’t matter) – preferably; OR a proficiency level English speaker
Work Conditions
- Working offline, private school located in Budva, Montenegro, employment contract
- All the documents from the school required to get the residence permit/visa; guidance on the process of applying for the residence permit/visa
- Rate per hour is 20-25 euro depending on the candidate’s experience;
- A certain compensation for renting an apartment can be discussed
- Transfer from the center of Budva to the school and back by bus
- The school provides the candidate’s participation in an IB workshop to become a certified IB DP teacher
