We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our finance team in
Podgorica, Montenegro
Key Role Responsibilities
- Responsible for the monthly and annual closing.
- Daily bookkeeping activities (incoming invoicing, bank statements, inventories, journal entries).
- Monthly payroll preparation
- Compute taxes and prepare tax returns (VAT, corporate income tax, payroll tax and other taxes preparation).
- Prepare monthly Accruals/Deferrals/Provisions.
- Review Journal Entries.
- Reconcile Subledgers.
- Fixed Assets & Inventory management.
- Prepare various reports for the local organization and the Group.
- Prepare mandatory statistical reports (CNB, CBS).
- Responsible in annual audits.
- Responsible for the local implementation of the Group's financial policies/rules.
- Processing vendor payments and collection from customers.
- Assure stable Cash Flow management
- Perform internal controls and other related duties as assigned.
- Close cooperation with Cluster Finance Manager and Country Leader.
- Assuring compliance with customers and vendors contracts.
- Outgoing invoices administration: issuing and management of invoices.

Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field OR Bsc./University Degree in Accounting or Economics.
- Min. 3 years of overall accounting experience, with 1 year in a supervisory role.
- Solid Knowledge of MN-GAAP, IFRS, and financial reporting standards.
- Very good knowledge of the local tax legislation (e.g. VAT, corporate income tax, payroll tax and other taxes).
- Working experience with accounting ERP will be considered as an advantage.
- Previous experience in the corporate environment preferably in an IT services company.
- Fluency in English and local language.
- Excellent command of key business SW applications (MS Office; advanced Excel).
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- High self-motivation, commercial awareness, interpersonal skills, initiative, good problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Payroll knowledge – would be an advantage
