We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate individual, for the Teacher position to join our team and provide exceptional care and education to children between the ages of 3 to 4 years old. Our Educational centre offers a nurturing environment where young minds can thrive and develop their cognitive, social, and emotional skills.
Responsibilities:
- Create a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment for children aged 3-4 years old.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and educational programs that promote child development and stimulate curiosity.
- Foster positive relationships with parents/guardians and maintain open lines of communication to ensure their involvement in their child's learning journey.
- Observe and assess each child's development and progress, and provide individualized attention and support as needed.
- Encourage independence, self-help skills, and positive behavior through modeling and positive reinforcement.
- Collaborate with a team of educators to develop and maintain a cohesive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Maintain accurate records of each child's progress, including assessments, observations, and any necessary documentation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree. (Preferably in Early Childhood Education or a related field).
- Proven experience working with children aged 3-4 years old in a preschool or similar setting.
- Excellent English speaking skills or native speaker proficiency.
- Proficiency in the local language would be a plus.
- Strong knowledge of child development principles and age-appropriate teaching methodologies.
- Patience, compassion, and the ability to connect with and understand the needs of young children.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- CPR and First Aid certification (preferred).
