About the Position
We are seeking an experienced and skilled IT Manager to lead our IT Department. The ideal candidate should have an in-depth knowledge of current information technologies, with a strong background in IT management, project implementation, and providing IT support to company's core systems.
Qualifications and Requirements
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology (ETF/PMF) or a related field
Technical Skills and Knowledge:
- Extensive knowledge of current information technologies
- Proficiency in English
- Experience in managing, creating, and implementing IT projects and software solutions
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new business processes and applications
Work Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years in IT roles, with at least 3 years in a team management position
Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for managing the full life cycle of our core banking system development, from planning to implementation, ensuring that the external vendor meets all milestones, quality standards, and deadlines. You will work closely with internal teams, external vendors, and stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of the application, while ensuring adherence to best practices, regulatory requirements, and security standards.
- Vendor Management: Collaborate with external vendors to ensure timely and effective delivery of the core banking application, managing communication and expectations throughout the process.
- Project Oversight: Manage and track all phases of the SDLC, from requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, to post-implementation support.
- Requirements Alignment: Work closely with business stakeholders to ensure that all business requirements are well-documented, understood, and translated into functional specifications for the vendor.
- Risk Management: Proactively identify risks to the project schedule, budget, or quality and develop mitigation strategies.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that all deliverables meet established quality standards, regulatory requirements, and security protocols.
- Budget & Timeline Management: Monitor project budgets and timelines, ensuring the vendor adheres to agreed-upon schedules and costs.
- Communication & Reporting: Provide regular status updates to senior management and stakeholders, highlighting progress, issues, and risks.
- Change Management: Coordinate any required changes to the application or project scope, ensuring that they are thoroughly reviewed, tested and implemented.
