If you are a System Administrator who wants to take ownership of designing, maintaining, and continuously improving complex on-premises and hybrid IT infrastructure, this role is for you. You will be part of a collaborative IT team, working across functions and with external providers to ensure continuity and resilience.
System Administrator (m/f/d) for Regional Infrastructure & Cloud CoE.
You Will
- Design, configure and monitor infrastructure (VMs, storage, servers, network and policies).
- Maintain and optimise on-prem and hybrid environments.
- Plan, execute and track patch management and compliance.
- Manage OS, middleware and service upgrades.
- Support infrastructure migrations (legacy, cloud, storage, backup, virtualisation).
- Troubleshoot issues and perform root cause analysis.
- Support DR solutions and backup/restore testing.
- Automate infrastructure tasks using scripting and IaaS tools.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors.
- Maintain documentation, reporting and risk tracking.
- Support maintenance windows and service communications.
- Provide technical support and mentoring to junior colleagues.
You have
- Degree in a technology-related field and/or relevant work experience in the area
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree (VI–VII level of education)
- Educational background in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, or related fields
- At least 3 years of experience in the same or similar roles
- Strong understanding of information technologies and IT processes
- Experience in IT projects and infrastructure system design
- Hands-on experience with data centre operations
- Active knowledge of English language
- Strong organisational and communication skills
