Join our team in Aman Sveti Stefan. A country famed for its beauty, Montenegro’s most iconic destination is the tiny islet of Sveti Stefan overlooked by Villa Miločer, a graceful stone residence set on a pink sand beach. The former residence of Queen Marija Karađorđević, Villa Miločer offers several elegant suites, while the island provides accommodation in 15th-century stone cottages. Together they comprise the unequalled Aman Sveti Stefan.
This role is responsible for the creation, development and implementation of the sales and marketing strategy for the resort. The role oversees all disciplines of Sales & Marketing, a key component will be the maximization of financial performance and achievement of the agreed budget across all revenue generating areas, Room, F&B, Spa and activities for the resort.
Responsibilities
- Creation and implementation of the Sales & Marketing strategy, action plan and budget for Amanvari for Leisure, Wedding, MICE and Corporate accounts.
- Coordination and execution of sales and marketing plans/ initiatives in conjunction with the Global Sales and Marketing teams and regional representations.
- Preparation and execution of annual Sales and Marketing budgets, expenses and revenue.
- Represent Aman Sveti Stefan from a sales perspective across the specific markets attributed, as well as develop and maintain close working relationships with all key decision makers in all key segments.
- Responsible for achieving room revenue and occupancy targets through development and execution of a sales strategy, through excellent customer service and protection of the brand integrity at all times.
- Devote attention to the business development and solicitation of business opportunities with sound analytics, plans and events supported by return on investments calculations. Represent Aman Sveti Stefan at international trade shows, industry events, sales missions, showcases and consumer shows.
- Develop and strengthen our DMC relationships to ensure increased market share from competitive set.
- Work closely with the Corporate Social Media team to ensure a robust social media strategy for the hotel.
- Prepare monthly forecasts, departmental budget, and function space yield maximization.
- Responsible for developing the annual business and marketing plan for the hotel.
Requirements
- Must have at least 5 years’ experience in a similar role within a luxury hospitality environment.
- University Degree or equivalent required.
- Fluency in English (additional languages preferred).
- Progressive career path and acknowledged track record within Sales & Marketing in the luxury hospitality field.
- Strategic Sales & Marketing expert whose career has had a strong focus in this discipline.
- Ability to work with multi culture environment with an engaging personality, should be hands-on, yet strategic and can conduct business at the highest level with senior executives and local dignitaries.
- First class presentation and communication skills with a balanced sensitivity to cultural issues.
- Demonstrated leadership and organizational skills.
- Adaptable & flexible with the capacity to set high goals and standards for an integrated collaborative approach between departments.
- Bottom-line oriented with emphasis on quality guest-service and team-building.
