Accounting, Technical Account Management (TAM) and Controlling are major functions in our Finance Team. Centralizing and streamlining conversion data and partner tracking, automating as much as possible and solidify the relationships with our partners by making sure everything is running smoothly are the basics for our monthly revenue generation and invoicing.
If you are passionate about numbers, analyzing data and you enjoy solving problems, this position will be a great fit for you.
We are looking for a freelancer to support our team either full or part-time.
Role And Responsibilities
- Make sure that our internal conversion data is complete and correct in our CMS
- Follow-up independently on mismatching, missing or changing data and spot discrepancies
- Troubleshoot and manually upload missing data in a timely manner
- Invoice partners according to German GAAP, meeting our invoicing deadlines and helping to reduce our DSO
- Control all revenue numbers in Affiliate Networks and other external sources, prepare numbers for monthly accounting
- Assist in audit preparations and compliance adherence
- Analyze partner performance, contribute to budget planning and monitoring
- Train colleagues in other teams and be the go-to person for back-office related questions
- Optional: Support with tracking set-up (S2S / Postback, API reports and email importers) and do continuous checks to ensure everything is working
Requirements
- Bachelor’s in a relevant field or equivalent work experience (e.g. in controlling / accounting, finance administration, operations, technical account management)
- Working with numbers and data (particularly in Excel/GoogleSheets and online third party interfaces) is something you have experience with and you enjoy to do on a daily basis
- Logical thinking comes natural to you – if A is true then B doesn‘t make any sense
- Attention to detail – your hawk eye can spot something out of place from a mile away and you get a rush of euphoria when the sums in two systems match
- You communicate goal-oriented and professionally with different stakeholders and customers (B2B) in English (C1)
- You have technical affinity and a willingness to learn - servers, APIs and databases don’t scare you
