The Spa Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the spa, fitness and wellness operations, ensuring exceptional service delivery, financial performance, and staff development. This role involves strategic planning, budget management, marketing initiatives, and maintaining high standards of treatment and service. The Spa Manager will lead a team, report to the General Manager, and collaborate with various departments to enhance the spa's offerings and guest experience.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and reforecast financials as needed to ensure profitability and alignment with business goals.
- Supervise daily spa and wellness operations to ensure exceptional service delivery.
- Regularly review and update spa treatments, SOPs, and service protocols to maintain the highest standards.
- Support the establishment and execution of all policies, goals, and procedures within the spa.
- Manage the recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance evaluations of department personnel.
- Encourage team growth by coaching and supporting individual development plans.
- Act as the primary contact for guest concerns, ensuring all issues are handled professionally and efficiently.
- Maintain a high standard of personalized service and guest engagement, aligned with the spa’s luxury positioning.
- Ensure full compliance with all health and safety regulations, especially in relation to equipment use, cleanliness, and hygiene.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in a leadership role within a luxury spa environment.
- Demonstrated ability in handling financial planning, budget oversight, and strategies for increasing revenue.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in Montenegrin and English with the ability to build meaningful guest relationships; fluency in multiple languages is advantageous.
- Must be open to a flexible work schedule, including weekends, holidays, and evenings when necessary.
- Capable of strategic planning and performing data analysis to effectively guide department operations.
- Proficient in numerical reasoning and technical aspects of wellness service delivery.
- Up-to-date knowledge of wellness trends and holistic health practices.
- Handles guest issues and feedback with calmness, professionalism, and a genuine attitude.
- Exceptionally organized, with excellent time management and attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills for managing team dynamics and external partners.
