Your main Mission: Work with the General Manager to ensure compliance with the hotel's financial, operational, and service quality objectives, supervising the adequacy of its image in relation to its category and brand guidelines, and participating in the management and supervision of staff.
✔️ What will your day-to-day work be like?
- Review the quality of service and products offered to customers by the different departments of the hotel.
- Review the suitability of the hotel's image to its category and brand guidelines, and the proper maintenance of the facilities.
- Provide direct customer service, supporting guest services when necessary, resolving queries, suggestions, complaints, and claims to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate in the resolution of extraordinary situations and complaints reported by unions to the Works Council and the Health and Safety Committee.
- Supervise compliance with current legislation.
- Assist and/or accompany the Hotel Manager during visits and inspections by local authorities.
- Monitor compliance with corporate CSR guidelines.
- Collaborate in providing and transmitting relevant information to the Operations department and General Management for appropriate decision-making.
- Collaborate in the management and supervision of hotel staff.
- Manage and supervise the sizing and distribution of staff in different departments based on occupancy and budgets.
- Ensure compliance with the hotel's income statement, ensuring revenue targets and expense control.
- Participate in the preparation of the annual budget for the hotel.
- Actively participate in the engagement of hotel staff, promoting best practices through professional development and motivation.
- Oversee occupational risk prevention to ensure staff safety at all times.
- Actively participate in obtaining new certifications established in the company's objectives.
- Monitor compliance with the KPIs established by the company.
🔎 Who is the ideal person for this job?
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Management, Hotel Management or similar.
Master's degree in Hotel Management
Minimum 1 year of experience as Assistant Manager, or 2 years in roles such as Guest Service Manager or Assistant Front Desk Manager.
Knowledge of corporate brand guidelines
Knowledge of hotel operations
Knowledge of customer profiles
Full command (bilingual or native) of English and the local language of the destination
