Role
In this key role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring legal certainty and smooth project execution — with strategic foresight and a clear focus on practical, commercially viable solutions.Your area of responsibility:
- Legal project management from A to Z You will independently oversee large-scale construction and procurement projects, ensuring legally sound and efficient implementation.
- Trusted legal advisor for our teams As a reliable sparring partner, you will support our operational teams with pragmatic, solution-oriented legal advice on all project-related issues.
- Strategic contract design & negotiation You will draft, review, and negotiate contracts, support public tenders, and confidently handle legal remedies and appeals.
- Close collaboration with our Legal Team in Belgrade You will work closely with our international colleagues, ensuring smooth cooperation and knowledge exchange across borders.
- Domestic law expertise In addition to international projects, you will also apply your legal knowledge in the field of domestic law and ensure legal compliance in national matters.
- Interface with external legal experts You coordinate cooperation with external law firms and ensure that all activities comply with applicable legal standards.
- Knowledge transfer that adds value You share your expertise and conduct training for project teams on key topics such as construction law, contract management, and public procurement law.
Qualifications
- You hold a law degree from a recognized university in Montenegro or Serbia and have successfully completed the bar exam — a solid foundation for your next professional step.
- You have gained at least three to five years of relevant experience, ideally working in a reputable law firm or as part of an in-house legal team within an international organization.
- Your expertise includes a sound knowledge of domestic, construction, procurement, and contract law. Experience with FIDIC contracts is considered a strong plus.
- English is a must in your role — you communicate legal matters clearly and confidently, both in writing and verbally.
- You are known for your structured and reliable working style — even under pressure, you stay focused and find pragmatic, legally sound solutions.
- You enjoy working independently but equally value collaboration within a strong, international legal team — responsibility motivates you, not intimidates you.
- You bring a high level of flexibility and are generally willing to travel as part of your role.
