The exquisite interiors have been designed by renowned French designer Claudia Ravnbo. The restaurant’s menu offers Mediterranean cuisine and changes every season.
Role Description
To assist the Executive Head Chef in the preparation and service of food, ensuring that the highest quality, hygiene and service standards are met and maintained at all times in line with our guests’ expectations.

Key Responsibilities
- Execute daily food preparation and duties assigned by the superiors to meet the high standard and quality set by the establishment
- Coordinates daily tasks with the Sous Chef
- Supervises junior chefs
- Knowledge of all standard procedures and policies pertaining to food preparation, receiving, storage and sanitation
- Full awareness of all menu items, recipes, methods of production and presentation standards
- Operate and maintain all department equipment and reporting of malfunctioning
- Ensure effective communication between staff by maintaining a secure and friendly working environment
- Ability to produce own work in accordance with a deadline and to assist and encourage others in achieving this aim
- Checks periodically expiry dates and proper storage of food items in the section
- Consults daily with the Sous Chef and Executive Chef on the daily requirements, functions and last-minute details
- Should be able to set an example to others for personal behavior, hygiene and cleanliness on and off duty
- Carry out any other duties as required by management
Requirements
- Hotel Management Graduate or Culinary Degree
- As least 3 years’ experience cooking in a well-established restaurant or full-service hotel and minimum 1 years’ experience in a similar position
- Previous experience in luxury establishments preferred
- Knowledge and application of HACCP rules and regulations
- Is well organized
- Able to follow orders from superiors
- Executes tasks in an efficient, consistent and rapid manner

- Maintains impeccable uniform and personal hygiene
