The opportunity
We are looking for an enthusiastic Product Manager to join our product team in our vibrant Montenegro office. This is a great opportunity to join a fast-growing restaurant software company, with some of the largest restaurant chains in the U.S. as customers. Backed by top venture capital firms, SynergySuite has expanded over the last 8 yearsacross Europe and the U.S. We are working from across the globe, with our offices being in Montenegro, Utah and Ireland.
What you will be doing
- Planning and curating product roadmap while finding balance between product initiatives and improvements, customer requests, maintenance and tech debt.
- Defining, maintaining, and reporting on product plans, scoping, milestones and delivery.
- Performing risk assessment, developing risk mitigation and contingency plans throughout the life of the product and leading problem resolution as issues arise.
- Be involved in the whole product lifecycle, from finding the right ideas to following through with design, development and QA - all the way up to delivery, monitoring and gathering feedback.
- Working closely with different departments and teams: from other product managers, customer success, project management, implementation to development, design and QA to ensure the best quality product.
- Working with other product managers and development managers to respond to customer situations and assess enhancement requests and requirements against business needs and long-term priorities.
Apart from that, you will be expected to do:
- Product research and competitor analysis.
- User interviews.
- Finding the right ideas for product improvement and defining scope of work through detailed plans and specifications for them.
- Assessing customer requests and finding the right solution, not just blindly accepting the proposed solutions.
- Documentation writing: PR/FAQs, product discoveries, product documentation, user guides.
- Design reviews.
- Prioritizing backlog and leading backlog refinements.
- Conducting product testing.
- Contributing in strategy and process discussions.
- Leading product webinars.
- Preparing product presentations and leading them.
- Writing release notes.
- Coordinating with the training team to support product deployment.
Required Skills:
- At least 2 years of experience as a product manager/product owner/project manager.
- Excellent knowledge of English, both written and spoken (C1 level).
- Ability to self organize and prioritize day to day tasks.
- Problem solving skills.
- Conflict resolution skills.
- Experience with high levels of multitasking.
- Natural leader and go-to person.
- Ability to work with the US team (flexible with later meetings, when needed).
Preferred Skills:
- Technical background - either from a university (such as Computer science) or from previous work experience.
- Previous experience in items mentioned in the job description.
- Experience with SaaS products.
- Proven ability to work with remote teams.
