Overview:
We are seeking a highly proactive and critical-thinking Internal Auditor to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to identify deficiencies in our processes and procedures. As an Internal Auditor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the integrity and effectiveness of our organization's internal controls and risk management processes.
Job Responsibilities:
Conduct Analysis: Identify areas/activities requiring review through observations made during the course of analysis assignments.
Risk Assessment: Utilize proactive critical thinking to identify and assess potential risks to the organization's objectives, operations, and financial stability.
Deficiency Identification: Independently identify deficiencies, weaknesses, and areas for improvement in internal controls, operational procedures, and risk management practices.
Documentation: Prepare clear and concise documentation, including findings, observations, and recommendations, in accordance with professional standards and organizational guidelines.
Communication: Effectively communicate audit findings, recommendations, and observations to relevant coworkers, including management, in a timely and professional manner.
Follow-up: Monitor and track the implementation of audit recommendations to ensure timely and effective resolution of identified deficiencies.
Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the enhancement of audit methodologies, tools, and techniques.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration, finance, or related field.
- Preferred 1-2 years of experience in accounting or related field; new graduates are welcomed.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to think critically and independently.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and SQL.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Willingness to travel to the USA if needed.
