XLA is looking for a
Project Assistant II to support a federal agency in Arlington, VA. This is an
onsite position Monday-Friday.
The Transportation & Relocation Management Section requires contract support to assist the DEA in a variety of
activities to support its mission. The support includes administrative, professional, and technical staffing. The contractor
shall provide qualified personnel to plan, organize, document and execute all duties that are associated with performing
the administrative, professional, and technical duties described below in support of the permanent change of station (PCS)
process and the transit subsidy program.
General Experience
- Two years relevant experience with an associate degree.
- Relevant experience may include coordinating and performing general financial and project duties. Experience in spreadsheets, data entry, and word processing.
Functional Responsibilities
- Provide program/project-wide organizational and financial support.
- Working with minimal supervision, provide support for the accomplishment of project/program objectives. May include document preparation.
Administrative
- Maintenance of files
- Distribution of information, paper or electronic, as instructed by federal government staff
- Data entry in UFMS, MLINQS and any other PCS related systems. (Not required to have experience)
Professional
- Subject matter expertise on relocation and permanent change of station (PCS)
- Educational leadership/professional development program expertise
- Subject matter expertise on transit subsidy
- Support for special or one-time projects
Technical
- Testing of new processes, procedures, and documentation
- Training planning, development, delivery, and improvement
- Budget and finance expertise
- Providing meeting support and maintaining spreadsheets and reports.
