Our client is a well-known US sales data and intelligence platform provider. We’re looking for a Senior Salesforce Engineer who will join their team for the long term. Your primary role will be to concentrate on the development of the behind-the-scenes aspects of web applications, where you will seamlessly connect them with diverse CRM and Marketing Automation systems. Your central objectives will revolve around enhancing the software's quality, ensuring its reliability, and bolstering its security measures. In this position, you will serve as the CRM specialist responsible for conceiving, constructing, and maintaining certain connectors while also assisting others in their connector development endeavors.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in commercial software development.
- Experience in working with high-traffic web applications.
- 4+ years of experience with Salesforce (APIs, Apex,VisualForce, SOQL and SOSL query language, tool import, workflows, data validations, security & sharing).
- Proficiency in Salesforce, including hands-on experience with Salesforce Managed Packages.
- Experience in creating and utilizing REST, SOAP, and Salesforce APIs.
- Expertise in APEX, architecture and API design.
- A solid knowledge of MVC principles, object-oriented methodologies, and related approaches.
- Extensive hands-on experience in crafting packages for AppExchange, including a track record of adhering to rigorous review protocols.
- Practical experience in developing applications using Java and/or JavaScript.
- Proven leadership skills and experience in a professional setting.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical major, or equivalent experience.
- Good oral and written English is a must.
Responsibilities
- Plan, conceptualize, and build B2B Web Connectors that serve as intermediaries connecting our REST API with different CRM and Marketing automation APIs (both REST and SOAP).
- Serve as a Salesforce specialist and expand your knowledge and expertise to encompass other CRM and Marketing Automation Platforms, becoming the primary technical point of contact for any integration-related inquiries or challenges.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams throughout the entire process, from design and development, through quality assurance, launch, and ongoing maintenance.
- Promote and implement industry best practices, including Test-Driven Development (TDD), continuous integration, utilization of design patterns, and code refactoring, to uphold the highest standards of code quality.
- Prioritize security and ensure that data passing through the web application is consistently safeguard, and encrypted.
