For our client, one of the world’s leading financial services and payment technology companies, we are looking for an ACCOUNT MANAGER to support both Financial Institutions (FI) and Merchant & Commerce (M&C) segments, oversee client relationships, ensure client satisfaction, and drive business growth in Montenegro. The ideal candidate is self-driven and passionate about the customer experience journey and possesses an entrepreneurial mindset.
Key responsibilities
· Contributes to the achievement of sales and net revenue targets in both segments
· Assists with analysis of customer’s business through profitability modeling, financial forecasting and competitive analysis both segments
· Assists in designing strategies, messaging and proposals for customers both segments
· Supports the key customer relationships at manager levels in both segments
· Collaborate with the account team and customers to plan, execute and monitor progress against annual business plans in both segments
· Assists in local projects and cross-functional initiatives in both segments
· Build and maintain strong relationships with clients
· Understand client business goals and challenges to develop tailored solutions using Mastercard product suite
· Work closely with internal teams to deliver revenue targets, expand market share and ensure exceptional client service
· Negotiate, oversee, and manage client agreements. Develop and implement sales plans including business development, marketing and product management.
· Identify and develop new growth opportunities
Skills & experience:
· 5+ years of experience in Account Management in financial services/Financial Institutions/payments ecosystem
· Proven ability to manage internal and external relationships across all levels
· Strong strategic thinking and long-term planning capabilities and organizing skills
· Demonstrated success in managing complex sales efforts and leading projects to completion
· Excellent financial and analytical skills with experience in creating growth-driving solutions (financial analysis, spreadsheet and modelling skills)
· Strong teamwork skills
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Appetite for technology and innovations
· Knowledge of card and payments industry would be an important plus
· Demonstrated ability to translate business needs into payment solutions and value propositions would be an important plus
· Experience creating business cases and presenting ROI to senior stakeholders
· Fluent English and Montenegrin
